Bill Harrison

Bill has worked exclusively in farm real estate including farm and ranch sales, recreational properties, appraisals and farm management since 1972 when he went to work for the Berkner Agency, Inc. He started The Harrison Company in 1985 as owner/broker and is based in our Benson office.

As the owner/broker of The Harrison Company, Bill encourages those who have decided to sell their farms to work with a professional to ensure the greatest exposure to potential buyers, to successfully negotiate the sale and to guide them through the sometimes complex process of pricing, marketing and selling farm properties.

He is a member of the Realtor's Land Institute, the National Association of Realtors, the National Association of Master Appraisers where he has earned the designation Master Senior Appraiser and a member and past president of the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Master Appraisers.

His involvement in ag real estate trade organizations ensures properties listed with The Harrison Company get the greatest statewide and national exposure. It's also a valuable link to information about ag and recreational properties for sale in other areas, what's selling and what they're selling for.

And at one time, before storefront taverns in Deadwood, South Dakota were transformed into casinos, there was a picture of Bill, his guide and fellow Fast Draw Club member, and his "almost one for the record book" wild turkey in the Double Nickel Saloon.
